Charlie Sheen And Chuck Lorre End Feud, Reunite For New Comedy Series

It’s a good year for reunification – at least for Charlie Sheen and Chuck Lorre. The famous feud between the actor and producer seems to have come to an end. News outlet Deadline has reported that the two will be working on a new project for HBO Max.

Charlie Sheen and Chuck Lorre first worked on the highly-successful Emmy-awarded series Two & A Half Men. The show aired for eight seasons before it was canceled in 2011. And apparently, the reason for the cancellation was the feud between Sheen and Lorre, the actor playing the lead role and the producer and co-creator of the series.

According to reports, Sheen exhibited alarming and explosive behavior on set. This happened during the time Sheen was going through multiple stints in rehab. After the show was canceled, he went to interviews saying disparaging things about Lorre on TV. The reason for Sheen’s outburst is allegedly a statement that Lorre made to TV Guide about Sheen being fired from CBS.

After the feud erupted, Sheen seemingly took a break from Hollywood, living his life on the down-low. But finally after more than a decade of bad blood, the two seem to have reconciled.

HBO Max announced a new series called “How to Be a Bookie,” which was co-created and is to be produced by Chuck Lorre. Surprisingly, Hollywood insiders report that Charlie Sheen is cast in the series. This marks the end of speculation on whether the two men are on good terms yet.

After many years and an expensive lawsuit, Sheen apologized to Lorre about his actions and the statements he made against the writer-producer. Now both parties are ready to put water under the bridge.

“How To Be a Bookie” is a series focusing on a struggling bookie in the chaotic world of sports gambling and its legalization. Charlie Sheen is set to play the lead role of Sebastian Maniscalco in the comedy series. There is no news on when production starts at the moment but fans are excited. Based on the success of Two & A Half Men, the audience is expecting this upcoming project to be a must-watch as well.
