A Florida state representative found himself the victim of an Impractical Jokers style prank as he was made to read off a list of fake dirty names during a committee meeting.
Republican Will Robinson Jr. who represents Florida House District 71, was made to read off a list of names opposing a legislation. “Anita Dick” and “Holden Hiscock” were included in the list.
Video footage from the meeting shows Robinson stating, “Anita Dick is an opponent. Waives in opposition,” as a woman next to him holds her hand to her mouth to stifle a laugh.
“Holden Hiscock is also an opponent. Waives in opposition,” he goes on to say, seemingly unaware of his euphemisms.
However, he later realized what had happened and had a good sense of humor about it. After the video of the incident circulated on social media, he invited Ms. Dick and Mr. Hiscock to stop by for the next meeting.
“Committee does meet again next week! Anita and Holden, please stop by!” he tweeted in response to a facepalm emoji that appeared under the video.
Many commentors wondered how the names snuck in there.
“Did Bart Simpson testify?” one user wondered.
“This is forever in the Florida records, right? … right?” another pointed out.
Others were glad to find humor in politics.
“Thank goodness there’s still a few people left in my home state with a sense of humor,” they typed.
