Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have announced the arrival of their first child.
On August 23, 2024, the couple shared the joyful news. Justin, 30, and Hailey, 27, are now officially parents.
Justin took to Instagram to announce, “WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER.” Hailey quickly followed with a similar post on her Instagram Stories, featuring their baby’s name, a teddy bear emoji, and a blue heart emoji.
Justin’s mother, Pattie Mallette, celebrated the news on Twitter, writing, “CONGRATULATIONS @justinbieber & Hailey. I LOVE YOU FOREVER BABY JACK!!” Hailey’s father, Stephen Baldwin, retweeted Mallette’s message, adding, “Amen, Congratulations to you and may God continue to bless our family.”
The couple had previously revealed their pregnancy news in May 2024. At that time, a representative confirmed that Hailey was over six months pregnant. In a touching video from their vow renewal, Hailey showcased her baby bump in a lacy white dress and veil. The video also featured Justin with his arms around her belly and their matching wedding rings.
Hailey had kept her announcement simple, tagging Justin in the post. The couple had married in a New York City courthouse in September 2018, just two months after their engagement. They later held a grand ceremony in Bluffton, South Carolina, with family and friends.
In October 2023, Hailey addressed pregnancy rumors on the cover of GQ Hype. She expressed frustration about the constant speculation, stating, “There is something disheartening about, damn, I can’t be bloated one time and not be pregnant? It would be a lie if I was like, ‘Oh yeah, I don’t give a s—.'”
She also mentioned that raising children away from the spotlight might be difficult. Despite her concerns, Hailey said she looked forward to motherhood. “It’s also such a private, intimate thing. It’s something that’s going to come when it comes.”
Justin has always been open about his desire to start a family with Hailey. During a December 2020 appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, he stated, “I am going to have as many [babies] as Hailey is wishing to push out. I’d love to have myself a little tribe.” He added, “But, yeah, it’s her body and whatever she wants to do. … I think she wants to have a few.”
Now, the couple is thrilled to embark on this new chapter as parents to baby Jack Blues Bieber.
