Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are expanding their family!
The actress, 38, and her fiancé, 34, revealed on Instagram that they are expecting their first child together. Megan Fox shared the exciting news on November 11, 2024.
In her post, the actress showed off her baby bump, covered in black liquid, while tagging Machine Gun Kelly in the photo. Another image featured her holding a positive pregnancy test. “Nothing is ever really lost. Welcome back 👼🏼❤️,” she wrote, quoting lyrics from Kelly’s song “Last November,” which reflects on their previous pregnancy loss.
This will be Fox’s fourth child and Kelly’s second. Fox already has three sons—Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8—whom she shares with her ex-husband, Brian Austin Green. Meanwhile, Kelly has a 15-year-old daughter, Casie, from a previous relationship.
Fox and Kelly first met in March 2020 while filming Midnight in the Switchgrass. Their relationship became public after Fox appeared in Kelly’s “Bloody Valentine” music video in May 2020, shortly after Fox and Green separated after nearly a decade of marriage.
Fox announced her engagement to Kelly in January 2022, sharing a video of the romantic proposal beneath a banyan tree.
Reflecting on the significance of the tree and their journey together, she wrote in her caption, “In July 2020, we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We didn’t know the pain we would face, but we were drunk on love and karma.”
She continued, “A year and a half later, after everything we’d been through, he asked me to marry him. I said yes… and then we drank each other’s blood. 1.11.22 ✨”
In 2021, Fox also teased the idea of expanding their family. At the MTV Video Music Awards that year, she and Kourtney Kardashian jokingly introduced their “future baby daddies,” referring to Kelly and Kardashian’s husband, Travis Barker.
Fox has previously opened up about her personal struggles with pregnancy loss.
In November 2023, she shared her experience in her book Pretty Boys Are Poisonous, describing a miscarriage she went through with Kelly. “I’ve never been through anything like that in my life,” she said during an interview with Good Morning America. “It was very difficult for both of us. It sent us on a wild journey to try to understand what happened and why.”
In her book, Fox powerfully described the emotional experience, including a poem about an ultrasound of a baby girl at 10 weeks. “Maybe if you hadn’t… maybe if I had…” she wrote. Another line expressed, “I want to hold your hand / hear your laugh,” before ending with the heartbreaking words, “but now / I have to say / goodbye.” She also captured the feeling of losing the baby as if it were “ripped from my insides,” adding, “I will pay any price. Tell me, what is the ransom / for her soul?”
As they prepare for their growing family, Megan and Kelly continue their journey together, filled with love, challenges, and deep emotional connection. Their announcement marks a hopeful new chapter as they look forward to the arrival of their first child.
