MTV EMAs 2024: Full Winners List

The 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) returned to the UK on November 10, celebrating its 30th anniversary.

Manchester’s Co-op Live hosted the event, drawing global attention. Taylor Swift led the nominations with seven, including Best Artist, Best Video, and Best Pop. Her strong presence heightened excitement for the night.

In the Best Video category, Taylor Swift took home the win for “Fortnight”, featuring Post Malone. Other nominees included Ariana Grande’s “we can’t be friends (wait for your love)”, Charli XCX’s “360”, Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us”, Eminem’s “Houdini”, and LISA ft. Rosalía’s “NEW WOMAN”.

Best Artist
In a competitive field, Taylor Swift triumphed in the Best Artist category. She beat out fierce competition from Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, Post Malone, Sabrina Carpenter, and RAYE.

Best Collaboration
The Best Collaboration award went to LISA ft. Rosalía for their hit “NEW WOMAN”. Other nominees included Charli XCX & Billie Eilish for “Guess”, Future, Metro Boomin, & Kendrick Lamar for “Like That”, Lady Gaga & Bruno Mars for “Die With a Smile”, and Peso Pluma & Anitta for “BELLAKEO”.

Best New Artist
Benson Boone emerged as the Best New Artist, defeating nominees like Ayra Starr, Chappell Roan, LE SSERAFIM, Teddy Swims, and Tyla.

Best Pop
The pop scene was dominated by Ariana Grande, who claimed the Best Pop award. She faced tough competition from Billie Eilish, Camila Cabello, Charli XCX, Dua Lipa, Sabrina Carpenter, and Taylor Swift.

Best Afrobeat
Tyla won Best Afrobeats, making a significant mark in this competitive category, which included stars like Asake, Ayra Starr, Burna Boy, Rema, and Tems.

Best Rock
Liam Gallagher took the Best Rock award, surpassing legendary bands like Bon Jovi, Coldplay, Green Day, and Kings of Leon.

Best Latin
In the Latin category, Peso Pluma emerged victorious. He beat out other leading artists such as Anitta, Bad Bunny, KAROL G, Rauw Alejandro, and Shakira.

Best K-Pop
K-pop sensation Jimin claimed the title of Best K-pop artist, ahead of other big names like Jung Kook, LE SSERAFIM, LISA, NewJeans, and Stray Kids.

Best Alternative
Imagine Dragons won the Best Alternative award, defeating competitors such as Fontaines D.C., Hozier, Lana Del Rey, and YUNGBLUD.

Best Electronic
The Best Electronic Artist award went to Calvin Harris, who edged out David Guetta, Disclosure, DJ Snake, Fred Again.., and Swedish House Mafia.

Best Hip-Hop
Eminem took home the Best Hip-Hop award, triumphing over other giants like Central Cee, Kendrick Lamar, Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj, and Travis Scott.

Best R&B
Tyla scored another win in the Best R&B category, ahead of strong contenders like Kehlani, SZA, Tinashe, Usher, and Victoria Monét.

Best Live Performance
Taylor Swift won Best Live Performance, marking another major win for the night. She triumphed over Adele, Coldplay, Doja Cat, RAYE, and Travis Scott.

Biggest Fans
The winner for Biggest Fans was LISA, beating out other fan-favorite artists such as Anitta, Ariana Grande, Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, and Taylor Swift.

Best Regional Acts
The EMAs also recognized outstanding regional talents, with RAYE winning Best UK & Ireland Act and Benson Boone taking Best New Artist.
