Williams candidly admitted, “There was a time I wouldn’t have confessed to liking NSYNC.” However, she recognized the impact that pop music had on her artistic development. “Let’s be real,” she continued. “I wouldn’t have learned five-part harmony or how to structure vocal arrangements without growing up on pop music with complex harmonies. I often look back on those memories and think, ‘That’s why I’m here.’”

MySpace emerged as another platform for millennials to discover new artists and share their favorite tracks.
Williams fondly recalled those early days, stating, “I remember MySpace vividly. We tour globally now, and that wouldn’t have happened without the online community we built.”
On MySpace, Paramore connected with fans by sharing photos and frequently updating their profiles. “We changed our profile pictures often,” she said, reflecting on the excitement of the time. “Our Top 8 lists would show which bands we were into or touring with. We even tried to respond to every MySpace message we received.”
