Prince Harry Reportedly Plans to Leave the Coronation After Just Two Hours

  • Prince Harry is reportedly planning to make a 24-hour flying visit to attend the Coronation ceremony.
  • The Duke plans to leave just two hours after the historic ceremony ends at 1 pm.
  • He intends to be back in the US in time for his son Archie’s fourth birthday.
  • This would be the first time Prince Harry will be seen with the royals since the Queen’s funeral.

Reports suggest that the Duke of Sussex is gearing up for a whirlwind visit to the UK to attend the historic coronation of King Charles III. However, The Prince plans to stay for only two hours at the event, according to royal insiders.

With his son’s fourth birthday falling on the same day as the coronation service, Harry reportedly hopes to be back in the US to celebrate with his family.

“Harry will be in and out of the UK in 24 hours,” a royal insider told The Sun. “He will only be doing the coronation service then leaving.”

The coronation service, slated for Saturday 6 May, is expected to last just two hours, starting at 11 am and ending at 1 pm. If all goes as planned, the Duke could be on a plane by 2 pm, and back in California by early evening.

Prince Harry Set to Arrive in London Just One Day Ahead of the Coronation – Will He Skip the Balcony Appearance?

Amid ongoing concerns about his safety in the UK, the Duke of Sussex’s travel plans for his father’s coronation have been shrouded in secrecy.

However, insiders reveal that Harry is expected to touch down in London on Friday, just a day before the much-anticipated event.

But with such a tight schedule, it’s uncertain whether Harry will have time to reconnect with other members of the Royal Family or even join them for the traditional Buckingham Palace balcony appearance.

While Harry has confirmed his attendance, his wife Meghan Markle will stay back in the US to look after their children. Charles is reportedly “happy” that his son will be present for the historic event and “understands” Meghan’s absence, as reported by The Sun last month.
