Lauren Boebert was escorted from a Denver theater after disturbing the performance multiple times.

U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert was escorted out of a Denver theater on Sunday night by security after several complaints to theater staff about her causing multiple disturbances in the audience.

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts made a statement to NPR that they had to remove two guests from a weekend performance of Beetlejuice  for violating theater policies.

Boebert wasn’t identified by name, but she later called herself out via a tweet where she admitted to being asked to leave the performance for “laughing and singing too loudly.”

The statement given said that the individuals who were escorted out were reported for vaping, as well as for filming the performance on their cellphones, with three different complaints about the behavior. This prompted security to issue a warning during intermission, but within five minutes of the second act underway, staff received another complaint and were forced to remove the two patrons.

In a report given by one of the ushers, it was stated, “They told me they would not leave. I told them that they need to leave the theater and if they do not, they will be trespassing. The patrons said they would not leave. I told them I would (be) going to get Denver Police. They said go get them.”

Released surveillance footage shows Boebert and an unknown man seated near the stage. The pair is approached by two security guards and after about a minute of conversation, they get up to leave.

Boebert then turns back multiple times to speak to security guards as the pair is guided through the lobby.

According to the incident report that was released, the pair was quoted as saying “Do you know who I am?,” and “I will be contacting the mayor.”

And then Boebert stops to take a selfie, as shown on the surveillance footage.
