It looks like Hailey Bieber has taken a break from the alleged Selena Gomez feud to wish her husband, Justin Bieber, a happy 29th birthday with some pictures full of PDA.
“29 never looked so good,” Hailey wrote in the caption. “Happy Birthday to you, best friend! Words couldn’t possibly sum up all that you embody. So here’s to more joy, more travel, yummy food, adventures, more peace, fun, and most of all more love.”
While some of her Instagram followers responded with sweet birthday wishes to Justin, many users were not interested in leaving behind the recent drama surrounding Hailey and Justin’s ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez.
Several trolls flocked to the comments section to remind the Rhode skincare founder of the ongoing drama with Gomez.
One person commented on the post claiming, “you were definitely the rebound.”
“Free Justin,” a second person joked.
“Oh s-t, forgot to unfollow you,” another said in reference to how the model lost followers amid the drama.
“She posted this for him, yet he didn’t even speak out publicly to defend her,” another said.
Other users commented that Hailey should be concerned about Justin’s health after he recently canceled the remaining dates of his “Justice World Tour.”
Unfortunately, the “Yummy” singer’s birthday coincided with the Hailey-Gomez social media feud, with people accusing the model of bullying her husband’s ex, Selena Gomez. Fans accused Hailey of teaming up with Kendall Jenner against Selena and intimidating her unnecessarily.
The long-running feud between Selena and Hailey has boiled over for the past few weeks.
Last month, the model posted and deleted a video where she, Justine Skye, and Kendall Jenner mouthed the words of the audio, “I’m not saying she deserved it, but God’s timing is always right.”
Fans concluded that she was referring to Gomez, who had just recorded a Tiktok response to being fat-shamed.
Hailey denied that the TikTok was about Gomez, but the shade didn’t stop there. Hailey’s friend, Kylie Jenner, was accused of teasing Gomez’s eyebrows after the singer glazed them too much. Kylie denied making fun of Gomez’s eyebrows.
A few days later, Gomez defended her best friend, Taylor Swift, after a video of Hailey pretending to gag when hearing Taylor Swift’s name resurfaced.
