​Val Kilmer, renowned for his roles in “Top Gun” and “Batman Forever,” passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 65 due to pneumonia.

His daughter, Mercedes Kilmer, confirmed his death, noting that he died in Los Angeles. Kilmer had previously battled throat cancer, which he was diagnosed with in 2014.
